N.E.O.N.

Means nurturing
Each
Other
Now

I started this mostly unknown movement in the mid 80's
The idea is to send a gift to a nurturing person. Usually women who give but need refueling as most women do.

You send a surprise gift and a note they can't send a gift back to you but one day when moved to send one to others.

So I made this for a friend recently. It also has a small envelope to match with potpourri in it.

The sash is silk and I made it.
Could have done a better job. Was in a hurry at that point. Anyway turned out nice. I made a card too.

It feels so good to know someone will be getting a surprise package.
I love it!

Once I found a Catalina bathing cap with divers all over it. Was red. I sent it to a friend who had moved to SF and was struggling a bit. I put it on a styrofoam head and it made her laugh.

I still get happy knowing it cheered her up.

If you're reading this and you're hung up feeling not so good yourself. Send a NEON gift, I  promise you'll feel better!

This is bark cloth btw. And for ribbon I'm now going to use silk and satin recyclables from thrift stores to make sashes.
